Remote temperature to half degree resolution?

Any chance we could get an enhancement to the remote temperature API to allow for half degree resolution on remote temperatures? (Instead of the current whole degree limitation).

As the internal temperature sensor supports half-degree resolution, it would be nice to have the same thing for remote sensors as well.
