Unregister thermostat

I have not found a procedure to unregister or transfer a thermostat to another owner. I will be selling my house and will need to unregister that thermostat and potentially have it reregistered with a new owner. Has anyone else run into this issue?

in the web interface, go to Profile/Locations. There you can delete thermostats.

You can also un-provision the thermostat by pressing the menu button, then tap the word "mate" located directly below the radio tower symbol three times until the "link" disappears. The yellow LED should begin blinking after the un-provisioning process is complete.
