Linksys E1000 - cannot access themostat

I'm using a Linksys E1000 router with WPA/WPA2 encryption. I was able to connect the thermostat to the network but when I tried to open a browser and navigate to the IP address of the thermostat, I can't bring up anything. I cannot ping the address and when I go into my router and look at the DHCP table, the IP address that should be linked to my thermostat does not appear in the clients table.

What now?

Did you complete the provisioning process? Did provisioning go smoothly?

I unprovisioned it and then reprovisioned and that seemed to work.
