TFW Not What I Expected

Postby johnrm » Sun Dec 04, 2011 6:23 pm

Maybe it's just me, but I'm wondering why there is no documentation or adequate help available for the premium version and its features. For instance:
- what do the different coloured diamonds mean on the home screen?
- how do I invoke landscape mode?
- how do I get the fan scheduling to work?
- why do I get an object error message when updating the Tstat?
- what is the difference between updtae & refresh?
- can I delete some of the data that is recorded n the log? I don't really care what the lat & long are!

Now most of us can figure all this out eventually, but why should we have to? Anyone else feel this way?

The red diamond is the target temperature and the green diamond is the current temperature.

To invoke landscape mode double click on the windows title bar.

I believe the point the OP was trying to make is that these features need to be documented. How difficult would it be, for example, to have a legend for the color-coded symbols?

What is the white diamond?

The white diamond appears to be current setting.

I too, have the same question as the OP.

Is there somewhere there is documentation for TFW?

Version 1.14 displays a description of each diamond when you hover with your mouse cursor. Thanks for the ideas
