APIs on Models & Plans to Release

Postby nikg » Sat Nov 13, 2010 12:45 am

Hi -

I was looking at purchasing several of your WIFI-enabled thermostats for my properties. However, I want to be able to manage the settings via my own custom Windows Phone 7 app.

Is your API the same for both CT30 and CT80?

How can I get access to the API, and what are your plans to release it?

thank you
Nik

The API for the CT80 and CT30 are the same, and we will publish it on our website early next year.

How about the CT50? Does that also have the same API?
Thanks.

Wonderful! Need any "beta" testers for the API? ;)

Hi Paul,

Of course we will! We'd be happy to add you to list of beta testers both for the API and new features as they roll out.

Thanks,
Dan

Please do!! The first thing I will be doing (if it isn't already done), is to create a nice .Net wrapper around the API.

I'm also interested in being on the API beta list. I currently doing work across several tablet devices that I would love to get connected beyond the web browser.

Thanks,
