Stuck in Simple mode and wifi will not reconnect

Had my thermostat ct30 for over a year about amonth ago it stopped connecting to wifi, nothing changed in house no changes to wifi (WPA). Tried full reset seemed not to want to reset, tried removing batteries and C power and still won't work

NOW it is in simple mode so I can't reset or reconfigure the wifi so I pressed the program key for 12 seconds or more and no change, I cannot get to full mode and I cannto go to program mode.

The stat is not locked. Have tried remove wifi module (with power off) still nothing

The stat seems to just be stuck in simple more. Everything else works but I cant program it.

Put it in OFF mode and then hold down the program button for 12 seconds or when the day appears below the room temperature to take it out of simple mode
